此次夏令营由Christina Mendenhall创立并经营,隶属于Teacher Christy Enterprises(拥有合法美国营业执照)。夏令营地点位于阿肯色州Prairie Grove的Home Away From Home宅基地地区。

夏令营期间,所有活动均由经验丰富的辅导员指导。夏令营将于2024年7月15日至8月15日开放。此次夏令营规模小而精致,仅招收5名学员。我们特别为中国儿童预留了名额,直至2024年6月1日。
夏令营的辅导员团队包括:Christina Mendenhall——校长、所有者和组织者;Carol——负责游览和酒店住宿期间的服务;Brittany——专注于露营、徒步旅行和划船活动的指导;Cheri——在马厩区陪伴孩子们,分享马匹护理知识,并让他们体验骑马乐趣,使用西部马鞍和装备。
孩子们将在我们地区度过一个典型的暑假。夏令营位于风景如画的欧扎克山脉,这里是自然的宝库,拥有众多湖泊和美丽的州立公园,为露营提供了绝佳场所。夏日里,孩子们可以尽享钓鱼、露营、游泳、划船以及顺流而下的乐趣。此外,他们还将有机会参观密苏里州布兰森的银元城和俄克拉荷马州塔尔萨的动物园。
我们的行程从阿肯色州的Prairie Grove出发,途经费耶特维尔(阿肯色大学的所在地)、本顿维尔,并在克利夫蒂停留观赏马匹。之后,我们将继续旅程,在尤里卡斯普林斯、布兰森和斯普林菲尔德停留。回程时,我们将在塔尔萨参观俄克拉荷马大学和俄克拉荷马中文学院,并拜访Rex和Edens博士。最后,我们将经过布罗肯阿罗、马斯科吉和塔勒阔,短暂休息于西罗亚姆斯普林斯,然后返回Prairie Grove的宅基地地区。

本顿维尔是沃尔玛和水晶桥博物馆的所在地,附近还有令人惊叹的博物馆和豌豆岭战场州立公园。我们将入住比弗湖的战鹰州立公园,享受露营、远足和划船的乐趣。此外,米尔旅馆或公园附近的酒店也是不错的选择。
克利夫蒂是Cheri和她的马厩的所在地,孩子们将在这里度过难忘的时光,学习马匹护理知识,体验骑马的乐趣。
尤里卡斯普林斯是一个充满维多利亚风情的小镇,拥有众多购物和娱乐场所。孩子们可以欣赏天然泉水、体验高空滑索、骑马小径以及幽灵之旅等。我们将入住著名的1886 Crescent Hotel and Spa,享受一流的住宿体验。

再来到俄克拉荷马州的塔勒阔,这里是切诺基国家的一部分,游客们可以在这里领略到原住民村庄的遗址,并参与到丰富多彩的游戏、活动中,聆听酋长讲述古老的故事。

我们的旅程将在阿肯色州西罗亚姆斯普林斯的一家酒店稍作停留,为接下来的行程积蓄力量。最终,我们将回到阿肯色州 Prairie Grove 的 Home Away From Home 家园,结束这段难忘的旅程。

American summer camp

This summer camp was founded and operated by Christina Mendenhall and is affiliated with Teacher Christy Enterprises (with a legal US business license). The summer camp site is located in the Home Away From Home area of ​​Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

During the summer camp, all activities are guided by experienced counselors. The summer camp will be open from July 15 to August 15, 2024. This summer camp is small and exquisite, enrolling only 5 students. We have specially reserved places for Chinese children until June 1, 2024.

The camp’s team of counselors includes: Christina Mendenhall – principal, owner and organizer; Carol – responsible for tours and hotel stays; Brittany – focused on camping, hiking and boating activities; Cheri – on-campus The stable area accompanies children, sharing horse care knowledge and allowing them to experience the joy of horseback riding, using Western saddles and equipment.

The children will have a typical summer vacation in our area. The camp is located in the picturesque Ozark Mountains, a treasure trove of nature with numerous lakes and beautiful state parks that provide the perfect setting for camping. In the summer, children can enjoy fishing, camping, swimming, boating and river rafting. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to visit Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, and the Zoo in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Our trip started in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passing through Fayetteville (home of the University of Arkansas), Bentonville, and stopping in Clifty to watch horses. Afterwards, we continue our journey with stops in Eureka Springs, Branson, and Springfield. On the return trip, we will visit the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma Chinese College in Tulsa, and visit Dr. Rex and Edens. Finally, we'll pass through Broken Arrow, Muskogee, and Tahlequah, stopping briefly at Siloam Springs before returning to the homestead area of ​​Prairie Grove.

The specific date and time of stay are still being planned, but the entire itinerary has been roughly arranged.

Prairie Grove is a quiet town where kids can camp out in the backyard and cook on the grill or wood stove. There are small restaurants, grocery stores and convenience stores near the homestead, and all living facilities are available.

In addition, Prairie Grove also has a few shops selling tourist souvenirs, a battlefield park with a residence and museum, and a walking tour that introduces the Battle of Prairie Grove during the Civil War.

Fayetteville is home to the University of Arkansas, and kids can visit the campus, famous Dickson Street, and the Walton Center for the Arts. If they're interested in train travel, they can also take a tourist train to the nearby town of Fort Smith to explore the beautiful mountains.

At Devil's Hole State Park, we'll stay inside the park so the kids can explore the hiking trails and enjoy grilled hot dogs and marshmallows by the campfire. Of course, children can also choose to stay at nearby hotels.

Bentonville is home to Walmart and the Crystal Bridges Museum, with amazing museums and Pea Ridge Battlefield State Park nearby. We'll stay at War Eagle State Park on Beaver Lake and enjoy camping, hiking, and boating. In addition, the Mill Inn or a hotel near the park are also good choices.

Clifty is home to Cheri and her stables, where children will spend unforgettable time learning about horse care and experiencing the joy of horseback riding.

Eureka Springs is a small Victorian town with plenty of shopping and entertainment options. Kids can enjoy natural springs, zip lines, horseback riding trails, ghost tours and more. We will stay at the famous 1886 Crescent Hotel and Spa for a first-class accommodation experience.

Branson is the birthplace of country music and offers a wealth of options for families. Kids can enjoy dinner shows, musical performances, magic shows, and visit the famous Silver Dollar City Attraction Park. At Silver Dollar City Campground, kids can choose traditional camping or stay in premium loft cabins.

Springfield is home to the fantastic Butterfly Park and Dream Cave, located within Nathanael Green Memorial Park. We'll stay at Table Rock State Park and enjoy hiking, camping, and boating. Of course, nearby hotels are also good accommodation options.

In Tulsa, children will visit Oklahoma Chinese Academy and meet founders Rex Burnett M.Ed. and Dr Alpha Edens PhD. These two important figures have made great contributions to the promotion of local Chinese culture, and they maintain close ties with local students as well as Chinese students who hope to study in the United States. In addition, Tulsa also has zoos, aquariums, water parks and many other attractions waiting for children to explore. We will stay at a local hotel to ensure the children have a comfortable rest.

This summer camp will bring children an unforgettable trip to the United States, allowing them to learn while playing and grow through exploration. We look forward to witnessing your children’s happy time with you!

In the beautiful state of Oklahoma, Broken Arrow is home to Northeastern State University, a place full of academic and cultural atmosphere. Muskogee, Oklahoma, is famous for its unique Renaissance castle and hosts fascinating Renaissance fairs throughout the year.

Then come to Tahlequah, Oklahoma, which is part of the Cherokee Nation. Here, tourists can appreciate the ruins of Aboriginal villages, participate in a variety of games and activities, and listen to the chiefs telling ancient stories.

Our trip will include a stop at a hotel in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to gather strength for the rest of the trip. Finally, we will return to Home Away From Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, to end this unforgettable journey.

It is worth mentioning that the departure and return of this trip will be through Northwest Arkansas Airport (code: XNA) in Bentonville, Arkansas. To ensure a smooth trip, parents need to prepare the following items: round-trip air tickets from their home country to XNA, a tourist visa or documents related to visiting the United States, and student travel insurance.

Regarding fees, we will give you details when we ask for your admission packet and booking form. Please note that fees will be adjusted accordingly based on the type of accommodation selected by the student family (camp or hotel).
